PLY Yarn, Art & Handwovens

Kathleen Utts is branching out from her own creations in the opening of a unique shop that caters to yarn lovers as well as individuals desiring individually designed hand-constructed pieces of clothing. Through a select collection of wearables from artisans creating for Ply!, shoppers enjoy fiber artistry expressed through weaving, knitting, felting, hand spinning and embellishment. Kathleen is partial to natural fibers made from silk, soft wool, cashmere, mohair, and luxurious alpaca that she raises herself. Rather than carrying yarn from large yarn companies prevalent in many yarn shops, Ply! is inspired by small independent businesses and artisans that produce unique and stunning yarn, handmade fiber art and handwovens. Our mission is to create community through fiber arts, and to that end Ply! offers classes and regularly scheduled knitting, crochet and weaving groups.
