What is South Shore REALTORS?

South Shore REALTORS® is the second largest REALTOR® Trade Association in MA for real estate professionals. The jurisdiction of the Association assigned by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) includes the towns of Abington, Braintree, Bridgewater, Carver, Cohasset, Duxbury, East Bridgewater, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham, Holbrook, Hull, Kingston, Marshfield, Norwell, Pembroke, Plymouth, Plympton, Quincy, Rockland, Scituate, Weymouth and Whitman.

Association membership as of 2017 is over 2,900 (REALTOR® and Affiliate members). The Association provides members with a wide-range of services including education and professional standards all with a view towards benefiting REALTORS® as well as property owners and purchasers.

Association activities are governed by an elected Board of Directors. The Board establishes policies and programs to meet the needs of its members. The Board of Directors is organized annually with the election of Officers and Directors and is governed by the Association’s Bylaws. They are assisted in their undertakings by various committees and task forces that provide advice and counsel to the Board.

The mission of South Shore REALTORS® is to provide its members the resources, in partnership with MAR and NAR, to deliver the highest level of professional and ethical service to all.
