Our state-of-the-art facilities offer indoor and outdoor settings for hobbies, recreation and quality time with loved ones. Private apartment options give individuals an independent lifestyle, while nursing is available on a 24-hour basis.
Our proprietary Care Flowers philosophy in our Spring Cottage Memory Care Environment is a successful communication tool for care partners and family members. These designations help everyone have the best possible interactions with residents as they are in the present. It is an especially useful tool so family members can understand how to approach and interact when their loved one is acting in unfamiliar ways. The Care Flower system consciously avoids negative language or overtones throughout the residence. This approach is centered on every individual’s abilities, emotions and cognitive capacities, not their impairments or disease.
Technology is also our partner in Memory Care. We rely on PointClickCare’s Point of Care (POC) technology, to give nurses and caregivers the ability to document and track assigned tasks–and access healthcare information in a pinch. This allows for more quality time spent engaging with our residents. The Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) system makes documentation more efficient and accurate, and incorporates prescription medication order fulfillment to meet the needs of each resident.
