The Point of View Cottage is located 3.5 miles east of Frankenmuth, MI. This beautifully furnished cottage offers quiet solitude in a peaceful setting along the Cass River. It was originally built in 1945 by eight "old" men from Frankenmuth and Vassar who met "every other Monday" and was called the "EOM" Club. These men met to make pretzels and play poker. It was then sold to the Vassar American Legion who held their monthly meetings. When they disbanded, it was sold to the present owners about 20 years ago. Much of the history is still in the cottage. It has a fireplace, full kitchen with bar, a dining area and sitting area in the original Great Room. The "Michigan Room" with all windows overlooks the river and has a sitting area and twin beds. It can sleep 6 comfortably.
