More about Points of Healing Acupuncture/Margaret Ashton, MSOM, LAc, DiplAc

Relaxing Acupuncture Clinic offering affordable health care. Acupuncture is a process so it is rare that a problem will be resolved in just one visit. I strive to make treatments affordable allowing patients to continue with care to get well and stay well.

I treat general conditions such as pain syndromes, acute and chronic conditions. For those who are interested in 'speeding the process' I am certified in acupuncture injection therapy using vitamins, homeopathics and herbs. I also offer 10 week facial rejuvenation and weight loss packages that include an entire program.

Acupuncture treatments provided in a comfortable and relaxing setting. In addition to acupuncture I also offer weekly Qigong (Chinese yoga) classes at the clinic. Call the clinic for times available.

About Acupuncture Licensing

In Florida practitioners of Oriental medicine are licensed by the state Department of Health. Those practitioners that follow their name with the abbreviation DOM are nationally board certified, have had over 2500 hours of professional training that includes over 1,000 hours of hands on practice in a clinical setting and have passed the national board examinations. When looking for a qualified practitioner it is important to make sure that they are currently licensed and NCCAOM board certified.
