Polk Valley Dog Park

The Polk Valley Dog Park is part of the Lower Saucon Township Park system. Located at Polk Valley Park at 2068 Polk Valley Road, Hellertown, PA, the facility is open from dawn to dusk year round, weather-permitting.

The 1+ acre facility, which contains separate areas for small and large dogs, was opened to the public in 2009.

The Polk Valley Dog Park Facebook page is maintained by the Township and will contain up-to-date postings on the Open/Closed status of the facility.

To maintain the turf in the facility at a high quality level, the Township fertilizes, does weed treatments, overseeds and, and has the grass inspected annually by an agronomist. Due to wet conditions, or for periodic maintenance or repairs, it is necessary that the Township close the facility from time to time. We ask for your patience and recommend that you take advantage of the trail network in the park to exercise your dogs.

Notice of the Open/Closed status is posted on the Township website and on the park road sign outside the facility.
