More about Pomp & Circumstance

Pomp & Circumstance—where food is food and drinks are stiff—a modern, no frills approach to food and drink with quality ingredients made with integrity and honest craftsmanship. Our less is more attitude will be presented through a full service dining room and boutique cocktail program. The minimalistic dining experience comes from a scratch kitchen rooted in traditional technique.

Fresh product and sustainable food will emulate the rich art history of the famed Wells Street in the heart of Old town. The brain hold of Carmen Rossi (owner of Hubbard Inn, Barn & Company, and Heating & Cooling) will be in the forefront of a booming Wells Street dining experience. Collaborating with Kevin Killerman, Chris Bader and Scott Cochrane. The four of them are excited to bring something unique, entertaining and different to the area.

P & C’s distinct concept lends itself to a causal dining and lacked lounge setting. With two full bars, one can grab a classic cocktail with a modern day twist rooted in the heart of the 50’s-60’s spirit. From our food to our liquor to decor, the guests will cease to be in awe. A gorgeous open air patio will retract during the winter months. Pomp will surely cater to everyone all year round.

Our answer is always yes to any reasonable request. Everyone who steps foot in P & C will be better off than they came in. The staff will be smiling, the music will be energetic, and the design will be clean and vibrant. Our venue occupies the entire building of 1400 North Wells Street located on the corner of Wells and Schiller.

Our goal is simple, to entertain our guests in a unique and socially conscious way.

“Great things are not accomplished by those who yield to trends and fads and popular opinion”
-Jack Kerouac
