Ten years ago, there wasn’t a typical northern Chinese cuisine restaurant available in Chicago. In our first two years of operation, someone even told us that “this is not Chinese food”. They thought Cantonese dishes, which had entered the United States earlier, represented all Chinese cuisine.

Ten years later, the dishes we offer are now more widely available in the region because of the influence and expertise of many of our former employees, so that the Chicago Chinese food lover not only has more choice, but also a more comprehensive understanding of Chinese food culture.

十年前芝加哥的中餐市场上没有我们提供的这种典型中国北方餐，开店的头两年得不到当地人的认同，甚至一些人对我们说这不是中国菜，他们把早期进入美国的广东餐误认为是中国菜的全部。
