April 3, 1926 - January 17, 2012

Legendary father of faith, R.W. Schambach, was received by the Lord to his reward Tuesday, January 17, when his heart failed. His life and ministry were a divine military mission, which began on a destroyer of the coast of Japan in WWII. He and his wife Winn served in international crusades, inner-city tent meetings, bringing countless thousands to the saving knowledge of Jesus for over 6 decades.

In 2002 Bro. R. W. Schambach founded Power & Praise Church with the desire to minister to the community surrounding Lake Palestine where the Schambach Ministries headquarters is located. We are excited about what is happening at our home church. God has called together a group of Spirit filled believers who love to worship God, hunger after His manifest presence, and are anxious to do His works.
