Power Castle Ministries

Sidewalk Sunday School programs are held as an after school outreach of Power Castle Ministries. This is an effective strategy for reaching needy children and youth by putting the Gospel of Jesus Christ on wheels and taking it to where large numbers of children live. With the combined efforts of multiple outreach teams, Power Castle reaches approximately 300-400 children each month at 8 different apartment sites in the city of Beaumont, TX. Sidewalk Sunday School involves teaching basic biblical principles through motion songs, object lessons, memory verse contests, puppets, dramas and prayer.

As the Power Castle Ministry Team has ministered in low-income areas of our city, we have identified the physical needs of the children and families we reach. One very evident need has been that of an after-school feeding program. After each Sidewalk Sunday School Program, a sack lunch is provided for each child and anyone else who needs a meal. This ministry also provides a hot breakfast & a sack lunch to each child through our weekly Bus Ministry Program. This program began by faith and with little resources, but has grown into providing thousands of meals each year to needy children and families.
