Prairie School of Dance

We are a faith based dance studio in the Greater Twin Cities area. Our dedication to excellence, developing the whole dancer and quality instruction is unmatched.

We offer a wholesome environment where music, costuming and choreography are all family-friendly and age appropriate. Our friendly staff encourages students to dance with their heart, mind and spirit. We value the dancer as a whole person and exercise grace in and out of the classroom.

Our teachers hold college degrees in dance and many are professional performers in the Twin Cities as well. Their higher education, performance experience, and love for dance brings quality instruction into the classroom.

We have two programs at our Prairie School of Dance.

Our RECREATIONAL PROGRAM provides classes for ages 2 through adult. We offer creative dance, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theater, dance fitness, and sacred dance. Private lessons and birthday parties are also available upon request.

Our PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAM is for dancers ages 8 and older interested in a more dedicated and serious environment for their dance training. Our Performing Arts dancers are required to attend a minimum number of classes per week, and adhere to an attendance policy. They have the opportunity to perform many times throughout the year, participate in workshops, dance festivals, master classes, and large dance productions. To audition for the Performing Arts program, please contact us or attend our Assessment Intensive in August.
