More about Prayer Caves

The Prayer Caves also known as All Nations Missions Church was founded in 1986 by Pastor Peter Nam after 10 years of praying to God for favor to His vision. The Lord provided a place where people of all nations could come to place to get away from the urgency, the daily busyness and distractions of the world to seek and spend time with God in prayer through fasting and rest.

It’s a place to experience God’s creation and be inspired with life and spiritually renewed and transformed so that we can go out and impact lives.

Through the prayers of God’s people, their obedience and faithfulness, numerous trials and hardship were overcome and blessed by God. It took a series of God-sized answers to prayer just to acquire the 130 + acres of land. Throughout its history, All Nations Prayer Mountain has seen God’s hand at work in miraculous ways. For example, God moving mountains to save it from foreclosure; During California’s severe drought, discovering an underground water spring in front of the main chapel after Pastor Nam received a dream from God about Ezekiel 47 (”The man brought me back to the entrance of the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple”).

The inspiration for a prayer mountain can be found within the pages of the Bible where people like Abraham, Moses and Jesus Christ were all led to fast and pray, or as in the case of Moses, spend a prolonged period in the wilderness to wait on God and to seek His will. In the case of Jesus Christ, prayer was a regular feature of his ministry. And it was at this time that Jesus went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God. – Luke 6:12
