Prayer Walk San Pedro

The nation we live in rapidly moving away from the standards of God revealed by Jesus His Son. God very clearly indicated in many places in His Word that His body in the world, the church, has the power to counteract such movement away from God that occurs within a nation.

It does, however, require a specific kind of response. Again and again in the Bible it is illustrated. God's people must PRAY and SEEK Him on behalf of the nation.

However, Jesus Himself added a very significant point when He prayed for his disciples just before he died. He said "that they may become...one, that the world may know..."

It is the conviction of this "movement" of prayer that 1) Jesus himself is calling the church in San Pedro to intercessory prayer for revival and 2) this call is being made to the united church in San Pedro. (based on the understanding that all that confess Jesus, the Son of God, as Lord, are included in His church.

We invite all believers to seek the Lord and to listen for the Holy Spirit to confirm within their hearts this call of God to the church in San Pedro to united prayer. Once you hear from Him, please join us in our assault against the forces of darkness that exist in our city.

We believe the Lord wants to initiate prayer walk groups in each city of the South Bay. You may be the one(s) being called to this task. We would encourage you to step out boldly in obedience to the voice of the Lord. Call us for ideas or thoughts on how to begin. Imagine all the cities in South Bay with scores / hundreds walking and praying for their city.
