Precious Paws Sanctuary

Precious Paws Sanctuary is 501c3 non-profit animal rescue and sanctuary organization. We run completely off of volunteers and donations. We are dedicated to saving the furry lives of Pike County and surrounding areas. We pull dogs from the local pound, intake owner surrenders, and cruelty case survivors. We spay/neuter and fully vet all animals that come into our care. Our animals receive daily love and affection to get them ready for their forever homes. This is why volunteering is so important!

Our goal is to educate the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals. With your support, we strive to save as many animals in our community as we can. Our mission is to save as many lives as we can so that one day we wont have to.

Precious Paws Sanctuary is located in Troy, Alabama on private property. We are NOT open to public. We are not liable for any person(s) that visit our Sanctuary. All person(s) MUST fill out a release form before entering the premises. We kindly ask that you DO NOT show up at our Sanctuary without an appointment. Trespassing will NOT be tolerated. Surveillance cameras are all over the property. We are not trying to be mean, we are only concerned for the animals safety, your safety, and our personal safety. We LOVE volunteers and we highly recommend you make an appointment to come out. It is a wonderful experience for the whole family.
