Key Theological Issues

John 14: 6 – 7a Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well.”

Matthew 22: 36 – 40 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all you soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

We believe Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith; that we are saved by grace through faith. We believe Jesus is the world’s singular saving Lord and no one comes to the Father but through Him. We believe the Bible is God’s holy word, and that Christians are called to live a holy life, which includes the Biblical standard of chastity in singleness and fidelity in marriage. We are grounded in Scripture and try to show our faith and love for each other in all we do within our church and in the community. We recognize that although we support missions both global and local, we would like to improve our outreach to the local community to fulfill the Great Commission.
