My story...
Most of my professional life I’ve spent working for Corporate America, mainly in upper Management, traveling upwards of 80% of the time. While I made a nice living, I was not fulfilled and had very little work/life balance. So, in May of 2014 my husband and I agreed to make a big change! I resigned from my job, enrolled in Texas Allbreed Grooming School and spent 3 months learning an entirely new skill. While it did not come easy, I stuck with it! After graduating from Grooming School, I went to work for The Fireplug Inn in Southlake, TX and continued to grow my skill set and my confidence in this new field. I have always had a love for animals and becoming a Groomer has allowed me to marry my passion for dogs with my dedication to excellence and my business savvy. In addition to baths and haircuts, I also believe in helping clients with the many different aspects of dog ownership, including proper nutrition, behavioral issues and skin and coat health. It takes more than just being an animal lover (which I am) to be a great groomer. It's a combination of love for the pet, passion for grooming and the knowledge of multiple breed temperaments, skin and coat care.
