Harrison Central's marching band has consistently been one of the most talented bands on the Gulf Coast earning them the title "The Pride of the Coast." The 2011-2012 marching show is titled "Crime Wave". Harrison Central High School's Band has continued to demonstrate their motto, "Commitment to Excellence," throughout the years earning Straight Superior Ratings for the past 30 years, Grand Champion at Emerald Coast Competition in 2008, 3rd place at State Competitions in 2008, and many more honors.

The band is now under the direction Ken White & Wil Richmond.

The 2011 show, "Crime Wave", is now a heavily viewed contender for the state championships in October. Saturday, October 1, 2011, the band competed in the Gold Medal Classic at MGCCC campus at Perkinston. In the festival competition, the band brought home straight superior ratings and won every caption except dance line(HC does not have a marching dance line)and band. The night competition saw Harrison Central winning every caption and placing 1st overall while bringing home 12 trophies. October 8, 2011, Harrison Central Marching Band made straight superior ratings and placed 1st in the morning competition, and placed 2nd by .62 points away from 1st placed for the night competition at the Gulf Coast Marching Festival. Competing at the Emerald Coast Marching Classic in Choctawhatchee, Florida, they placed 8th out of 21 other bands overall, and the HC Guard placed 2nd with only one point away from 1st place (Father Ryan, champions of Bands of America last year). At MHSAA MBA Marching Band Championship 2011, they made 3rd place with a 90.75 receiving a bronze medal. The Harrison Central Guard also placed 3rd in the guard caption, and the marching band placed 3rd in the marching caption as well at the state championships for 2011.

The 2013 marching show is entitled "Inspiration: The Gift of the Greatest Generation". On October 12, 2013, HCHS received all superiors at the festival performance for state rankings. At the night show, the band won first in Colorguard, first in Visuals, and first overall. They beat the previous year's state champions, Petal High School, by three quarters of a point. The band competed at the Hurricane Classic at West Harrison High School October 19. They tied for best General Effect with Baker High School from Mobile. The band received awards for Best Colorguard and Best visuals. They won first overall.
