Princeton House Charter School

In 1998, Princeton House reorganized and became a state funded charter school allowing access of its program to children of all economic backgrounds. Our school has grown year after year with a significant number of students moving to Orlando so that their child(ren) can attend PHCS. As each year passes, we discover new and innovative ways to work with our students. We are very proud of the impact that we have been able to make in the lives of many children.
As a charter school, PHCS is governed by a board of directors to ensure that the charter contract is upheld and that funds received will be directly used to provide a highly intensive and individualized program for its students.



As of 2013-2014 school year PHCS is serving 160 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade.



Our program has several focuses:
* early intervention preschool focusing on acquisition skills in language, social skills and behavior modification
* an intensive intervention elementary educational program for moderate/severe children with autism
* A program for students with Asperger's Syndrome/high functioning autism which, in addition to grade appropriate academics, focuses on developing social skills and meeting life’s daily challenges

Our goal is two-fold:
* for our children to develop skills that will allow them to return to a less restrictive environment and
*to be productive members of the community
