Progressive Firearms Training and Self Defense

Welcome to Progressive Firearms and Self Defense. I provide professional firearms training in a relaxed atmosphere, I believe in teaching safe and solid technics for each individual to become familiar and comfortable with their firearm. If the student is not comfortable with their firearm the chances of them carrying it, or using it are slim. I am a certified Texas Peace Officer with over 16 years’ experience, a TCOLE Certified Instructor, Firearms Instructor, and Self Defense Instructor. I am also a qualified Texas LTC Instructor. I’ve logged over a thousand hours of range time developing my technics and teaching others. We offer basic pistol training for the beginner shooter. We will be happy to assist you whether you are looking to conceal carry, open carry, or just wanting to be more familiar with your weapon.
Fees associated with Progressive Firearms and Self Defense:
Texas LTC course is $ 70.00 this includes the 4 to 6 hour classroom portion along with 2 attempts at range qualification. After the second attempt if the student does not qualify they will be required to take the 4 hour basic firearms class before any other attempt will be made through Progressive Firearms and Self Defense. This will be a 4 hour basic firearms familiarization class, the fee is $ 50.00
The Basic Firearms familiarization class is designed with the new shooter in mind. Whether you have just purchased a handgun or you haven't fired it in a long time, this class will give you the confidence of owning and operating a handgun. This class will be 4 hour of range time with instruction. The fee will be $ 50.00 a person unless you are already registered for the LTC course, if you are registered for the LTC course and choose to take this class in advance the fee will be $ 25.00 a class.
Female self-defense classes can be taught in two or four hour blocks $ 25.00 an hour

All fees are associated with Progressive Firearms and Self Defense. Additional fees for LTC are paid through your application process to the State of Texas (fingerprints and application fee’s)
