Projekt Grow

Projekt Grow will serve as a store front, as well as a community engagement platform. Committed to fostering a sense of community in the downtown Sebring area, the main focus will be selling potted plants, and offering a space to provide the people of the area with what they need most, a place to come together and learn. To meet the needs of the neighborhood, Projekt Grow will hold weekly gatherings for specific target audiences such as homeschooled children, and women interested in relaxation and education. Children will be excited to come plant their own flowers in community grow beds inside the greenhouse, and observe the butterfly garden. Women will be able to partake in meditation classes and special herb and edible flower education classes to open their minds to creativity in the kitchen, and open their hearts to connection with mother nature. Unlike the nurseries in the surrounding area, Projekt Grow will incorporate an eclectic assortment of live plants, while actively teaching all participants about species native to Sebring. The primary market that Projekt Grow will target is sustainable and organic gardeners.

Customers of Projekt Grow will leave refreshed with a sense of belonging and connectedness. All functions housed under Projekt Grow will be aimed at making the world a better place, one seed at a time. When individuals enter the greenhouse, located in an upcoming area of Sebring, surrounded by crafty establishments and directly next door to the beautiful garden café, they will immediately feel the worries of everyday life slip away as they can get their hands dirty and connect with the circle of life. Group gatherings to plant flowers in the community garden will award patrons the opportunity to visit as often as they like, so as to watch the progress of their plants. This will ensure customer return since they will feel invested in the process. All in all customers of Projekt Grow will take away more than just a potted plant to add to their garden or table top, they will leave with a sense of wellbeing and gratitude. By offering classes for parents and children, it is the focus of Projekt Grow to instill these same qualities in the next generation.
