PT's of SOHO

PT’s was established as a neighborhood sports bar and grill on St. Patrick’s Day 1982 and the fun started then!

It took no time at all for this little jewel on Hollywood Blvd. to become the place to enjoy a quick lunch, great happy hour and a prime spot to watch your favorite sports team. The menu was simple yet appealing to all that ventured in. Our wings quickly became famous as an entrée not an appetizer. Buffalo style was the only way to go and who could resist a side of half & half onion rings and fries.

Over a decade has passed since the little gem on Hollywood closed its doors. Yet here we are, 2014 and PT’s of Soho has found a new home. Two familiar veterans of the Birmingham restaurant scene, Charles Matsos of CM Foodservice and Tim Vakakes, the original PT’s owner, have come together to bring back one of Birmingham’s most favorable sports bar and grills to the heart of Homewood’s Soho Square. We’ve brought along the old recipes, the familiar faces and the memories from 1982.
