The Margulies family founded Pushing the Envelope Farm in 2008, when they began planting on the 14 acres outside of their family business, Continental Envelope. Today, Pushing the Envelope is a Jewish community and educational farm with community gardens and berry patches. We are proud to be a home for goats, chickens, ducks and bees.
Our director of education spreads awareness of the connection between Judaism and nature. Our resident artist enjoys teaching guests how to create Judaica and build their own gardens.
Pushing the Envelope provides community garden plots to those who want to grow organically-raised vegetables and also supports young farmers that grow market gardens for their CSAs. In addition, we offer volunteer hours on the farm and educational experiences.
We happily invite you to become a part of our community!
