Pymatuning Adventure Resort

Pymatuning Adventure Resort is in Ashtabula County in northern Ohio, about 50 miles east of Cleveland and only 30 miles south of Lake Erie. The great Pymatuning Lake, a superior walleye fishery, is literally only feet away from the resort, although the Pymatuning State Park lies between the resort and the lake, necessitating a short detour.

The resort has its own fishing boats and pontoon boats for members and guests, docked conveniently nearby, so you can take full advantage of the lake. Resort personnel will escort guests to the boats, give them operation instructions and see them off safely.

Of course, the resort also has a very nice clubhouse for everyone, with a well-stocked game room, TVs and more. Outside the clubhouse there are sports courts, a large outdoor pool, as well as laundry and an unique primitive camping area.

The resort also features 150 full-service campsites, 35 large-park model RVs that sleep up to eight people and 11 nice, two-bedroom cabins for those who don’t have their own RV. Full time activity directors make sure that there is something interesting to do on each visit.
