This little unique combination of words in our name can be interpreted by the beholder of it’s pronunciation. It is built upon a desire & a given to serve the purpose driven mission of providing the public with great food and service in a manner that brings people together and builds memorable relationships amongst individuals. Thus the vision is ‘being a positive example of “Happiness” while unfolding that happiness upon our customers, the community and the world around us’. You can call it P’Zazz & Tapas or Pizzas & Tapas, but however you interpret it on any given day, we are prepared to satisfy either expectation with our duality of either the freshest quality pizza, sandwich, pasta, salad or any of our healthy Tapas and drink choices, in combination with our upbeat, innovative yet casual location and superb service with a smile. This trio of characteristics at Pizzazz & Tapas is certainly to surprise you with a most pleasant visit.

Our Executive Chef Carlos Espinal has an extensive background in Italian Foods, fresh home made recipes and great personal repertoire with the patrons. We cherish his heart felt professionalism.

Our owner Sondra Smith Merida is experienced with excellent customer service and building great relationships. She offers an awesome “down home” welcome to make everyone feel right at home giving respect to all.

Great things come in small packages. The given in our equation comes from the fact that the location was simply, a pizza shop attached to a gas station, however, optimistically, the desire is to be more than just pizza with our tapas concept. Thus, P’zazz & Tapas, with a more concentrated focus on small food sharables and fresh healthy choices. Our menu offers you from the most simple pizza pie or slice to selections from our Tapas (small portion plates – authentic and top quality)from various regions of Europe (Spain) and around the world. Tapas concept creates a great experience and topics of discussion with friends and family with the artistic plate selections. Tapas bars serve as big living rooms with a place to eat, share, meet friends unexpectedly, listen to music, and make acquaintances creating a pure appreciation of time and pleasure, or sociability. Imagine ordering an entire meal of what you like the most. There are no rules of this delightful mix and match affair, and everyone at your table will find something to enjoy. – knowing how to live happy. Our meals are designed for your maximum enjoyment.

Tapas are “simply” small appetizer plates taken with a drink or two at lunch or in the evening on a stop towards your destination and in our case, it includes a couple of breakfast selections with maybe a coffee, cappuccino, expresso or one of our tasty teas or one of our fresh juice bar drinks. The fact that our tapas are prepared for you within minutes, and on top of that our location sits in a cozy, intimate suite spun off the end of a major gas station makes us just that – a quick stop, although we would like you to stay with us a bit longer. Furthermore, at Pizzazz & Tapas, you place your order at our counter, and in minutes be served with your selections. We accommodate your stay with our small dining area, extended size patio, and ambiance. It is recommended that each person order at least 2 tapas. We serve daily fresh, authentic, house made pizza slices or pies, home made pasta, great sandwiches and salads. Whatever may be your preference, you are welcome. We also proudly offer delivery and catering services as well. Pizzazz & Tapas is located central to Winthrop University and Piedmont Medical Center at he corner of Herlong Ave and Heckle Blvd at 490 S Herlong Ave, Suite 103 in Rock Hill South Carolina with a great surrounding community.

You experience savory authentic flavors of traditional and modern food choices that tickle your gastronomic pleasure. We intend to boldly introduce the concept of tapas in all its succulence, with pizza to pasta as our fusion of Italian and Mediteranean, to the Rock Hill SC area causing a viral effect throughout surrounding communities, counties and states.
