We at PZM Diagnostics are testing the blood from potential Crohn's patients for the presence of MAP by three separate methods: Blood Culture, Serology and Molecular identification. We will first culture for MAP. We will test the blood antibody tier against MAP from the patient's plasma and we will analyze the patient's blood by molecular methods for MAP.
