Quaboag Community Summer Theatre

Quaboag Community Summer Theatre was first established in the summer of 2006 as an extension of the Quaboag High School Drama Club. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding, the organization disbanded soon after. Due to numerous requests and great interest, we were able to open our doors again five years later.

QCST remained affiliated with the Quaboag High School Drama Club until the summer of 2015 when we decided to become our own independent community theatre organization. Doing so allowed us to expand our activities, build upon our previous success, and allow actors of all ages from different areas to participate.

Our group has served as an outlet for local creativity and theatrical passion since its conception, and it has been our mission to provide our participants with the tools needed to perfect their craft, and to make each show a rewarding and enjoyable experience. QCST now continues to grow thanks to the help and support from our audiences, actors, sponsors, and volunteers.

A musical is selected each summer and the production is held in August. We are now looking to expand our season and add more performance opportunities throughout the year! (It looks as if we will have to lose the "Summer" from our organization's name fairly soon!) Auditions for our shows are open to everyone interested in the community and surrounding areas, and new members are always welcome!
