Russ Quam is a Florida native and he has always enjoyed cooking and being in the kitchen. He taught elementary school in Titusville for 16 years until he decided to switch careers and live his dream of owning a restaurant. Before beginning his teaching career he worked in several restaurants and gained experience which led to an interest in hospitality and food service. His wife, Christine, who was born and raised in Titusville, is excited to help in the city’s effort to boost local economy and provide jobs within the community. They are both looking forward to being a part of Downtown Titusville history and working with the other local and surrounding small businesses. Russ comes from a family of teachers including his wife, two brothers, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, and aunt, which led to the creation of the theme.

ABOUT QUAM'S SCHOOLHOUSE
The “Old Schoolhouse” theme was created as a way to merge the owner’s past career with his new dream of owning a restaurant. It is a casual dining experience with counter-service and an “old historic schoolhouse” atmosphere. You can enjoy a delicious burger with a custom-blend of all-natural Angus ground beef. The beef is never given any steroids, hormones, or growth promotants, which means a mouth-watering flavor without all the chemicals. We only use fresh quality ingredients and the goal is to provide you with exciting and unique menu choices. Delivery service is provided….if you don’t want to come in and get your burger, then we’ll bring it to you (free with $20 minimum). Guests can also relax on the outdoor deck, while enjoying a favorite beer and listening to local guest musicians.
