Quilt'n Thyme Sew & Vac is a fully functional quilt and soft crafts store. We carry quilt materials and notions as well as embroidery, latch hook, and many kits by Dimensions covering many of these genres. We have a good assortment of notions for all these categories and make a huge effort to meet the soft crafting needs of our local communities.

Quilt'n Thyme Sew & Vac came into being in 2005 as an outgrowth of the Foster Home that the Owners, Barbara & Dan Steigman, had operated for many years. During those years they had 111 children, most of whom were drug exposed infants. They ended up adopting 7 of the most affected and only stopped doing Foster Care when their first adopted daughter had twin girls. Today, the Steigman's have opened a small soft crafts & quilt store in Corning, California in honor of those many children that they have served in the past.

Over the last 7 years the store has grown, added staff, and now we are moving into our third building. We have added an 18x24 classroom, increased our workspace and added a find line of gifts in just the last few months.
