Originally a mission outreach to the Quinby community in 1981 with the First Baptist Church of Florence SC as the sponsoring church, the new sanctuary was built in 1984. The constituting of the mission into a Southern Baptist Church was completed in 1987.
The new Family Life Center was added in 2002.
