“Everything old is new again!” That’s how a fifth generation St. Mary parishioner described plans for the upcoming carnival. “It’s as if we were taking a step back in time to a more tranquil place,” said another.
Over one hundred members from the collaborative parishes of St. Mary, Sacred Heart and St. Ann have been gathering to formulate plans for the family-friendly September Carnival on the grounds of St. Mary Church from Thursday, September 15th through Sunday, September 18th. “This is an opportunity for families to set aside some time to enjoy a fun experience together. It will give members of the three parishes a chance to work and plan collectively for the future,” said Fr. Lou Palmieri, pastor of the collaborative.
