Adopting an upscale yet comfortable community atmosphere, Quincy's of Hopkinsville, Inc. intends to serve traditional yet refined cuisine, including a Daily Chef's Special, at a price that the common person can afford.

Our intent is to provide a welcoming community business grounded in the African American tradition of “food for the soul”. A certain class will be brought to the fare to upgrade customers’ palettes with an eye toward health.

The owner, Renée Sheffield, began tossing the idea of such an establishment with a friend in 2013. Having a brother with extensive restaurant management experience, a father who is a chef, and being an accomplished Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Renée intended to draw on the combined food service expertise and business acumen to launch a new dining business venture lovingly called QUINCY'S - in homage to a very special person.

QUINCY is the gentle spirited sister of the owner, Renée Sheffield. Community members may remember that she was an 8 year old attending 2nd grade at Morningside Elementary School when she was involved in a tragic car accident. Quincy passed away on Christmas Eve in 1988 but her memory lives on. Gone but never forgotten!

QUINCY'S serves as a symbol of its namesake's genuine love and concern for others. She always spoke of wanting everyone to "get along" and "love each other". This restaurant was developed to further this vision and create an atmosphere that promotes connectedness.

QUINCY'S provides a warm environment for patrons of all walks of life to gather together and enjoy quality food while making lasting memories. Don't worry teens and tweens, we have you covered too! Come on down to grab a snack or sandwich while meeting up with friends or completing homework over our complimentary Wi-Fi. You can even select age appropriate TV programming or music to bob your head to while you connect with your squad.
