Arrived in United States @ 1850, purchased land in the Town of Harris east of Westfield and north of County J 40 acres, 95 acres & 55 acres for $1.25 an acre.
Stephan & Ann's first born son Joseph born in 1851 died at age 8. George Henry born 1852 married Augusta Louisa(Janisch) Nelson had seven children. Elizabeht born 1855 died from small pox at age 18. Caroline born in 1856 married Dalbert Bunker and moved to North Dakota. Stephen G. born in 1859 died at age 14 from small pox. Charles born in 1859 (no census info after 1870). Joseph born in 1861 married Anna Kennedy and moved to South Dakota.
