I've been knitting for more than 10 years after learning how in Germany. I've been crocheting for a little over two years. I love sharing knitting and crocheting with newbies to both crafts. One-on-One beginning classes are set up according to your schedule - just give us a call and we'll set up an appointment. We have several classes per month, as well as open knitting on Weds, Thurs night from 4pm-7pm, and all day Sat. I also hold VSU Learning in Retirement classes at my store from 11am-1pm on Weds. You can sign up for Learning in Retirement classes through VSU and knitters attending my classes should know how to cast-on, knit, purl, yarn-over, knit-2-together, and bind-off. I offer a military discount and also a discount if you are a regular member of the knitting/crochet group at the store. I also have a frequent customer card that adds up as you buy and can save you 25% off future purchases. I have beautiful yarns for sale as well as completed pieces to purchase as gifts. I am happy to special order yarn as long as I have a contract with the company that produces it. I will also knit on commission.
