I'm a lover of caramel macchiatos, Netflix, "alt rock", yoga pants, chocolate with caramel, anything on the Food Network Channel, vacations, giving gifts, lazy days, the smell of coffee, (did I mention how much I love coffee?) and of course, taking pictures!

I think happiness is a choice, life is an adventure, and it's important to always say "thank you" and "I love you". I admit I'm not always organized, but I do have drive and determination and great critical thinking skills! I'm a glass is full and overflowing kind of girl - the eternal optimist! I'm super sentimental and love to use exclamation marks!! What can I say, I'm an excited person.

My photography journey didn't start when I was 10 and given my first camera - nor was it ignited from a daydream in college (even though that's when I received my first camera and I was Photographer for my university's yearbook). It was actually after I had my first child, Somewhere along the way I started using my husband's camera to take pictures of any and everything, Fast forward 2 years, and another kid, and amazing friends who have let me into their lives to take pictures, I have really come to understand how passionate I am about capturing life's little and BIG moments.

And what an honor it is to do what I do. I’m invited into peoples lives, to photograph the people that are the most important to them. And then, after I’ve had the opportunity to glimpse into the love that makes up their lives - I leave with a whole new love and respect for this world and the relationships we are so blessed to get to experience. I also leave with new friends and really beautiful photos. It’s a total win/win for me!
