Rainbow Counseling Center, Inc.

Hello, we are Reverend Dr. Claudia E. Johnson Brown and Dr. Vernon E. Brown. I am a psychologist and a Presbyterian minister. My husband is a psychologist. We share a small private practice in downtown East Liverpool, Ohio. Our practice, Rainbow Counseling Center, was established in 1997.

Between us our professional experiences have included hospital and hospice chaplaincy, counseling children and families, supervising mentally ill residents in a crisis unit, working with disabled students in a university setting, providing psychological assessments in school settings and for childrens services, working in a university counseling center, screening emergency psychiatric admissions, serving as a department head and mental health administrator as well as assessments of children and adults applying for disability through Social Security or Workers Compensation.

We believe in the uniqueness of every individual and that the best treatment is treatment planned and initiated after careful assessment of the individual and their situation and consideration of the available options.

Our office is handicapped accessible. Evening hours can be arranged.
