Since 1989, we have served more than 2000 young people through our residential treatment program. The average length of stay is 8 - 12 months and includes counseling, work, recreation, education, voluntary religious services and community involvement.
Youth are referred to us through the Department of Community Based Services or Department of Juvenile Justice. All have been entrusted to our care by the court system, but that does not mean they've committed a crime. Behind every child who has committed an offense is usually a child with a long history of abuse and neglect. Most of them need an opportunity to break free of the their environment or the unfortunate circumstances that have forced them out of their natural homes. We also offer resources to the child's family, such as counseling and referral services to outreach programs
