Ramini Mozzarella

Ramini Mozzarella is a small artisan cheese company in Tomales, California that makes local, fresh mozzarella cheese that is worthy of comparison to the wonderful mozzarella di bufala that is made in Italy.

We have our own herd of water buffalo that is growing with the demand for our cheese from local chefs, who previously struggled with undependable supplies of mozzarella flown in from southern Italy--a challenge for a cheese that ideally is consumed within just a few days of being made.

We are pleased to supply some of the finest local Bay Area restaurants, including Delfina in San Francisco, Poggio Trattoria in Sausalito, the two Rosso Pizzerias in Petaluma and Santa Rosa, Pizzalina in San Anselmo, Farmshop in Larkspur, and Zazu in Forestville.

We also conduct tours and do tastings by appointment.
