Rancho Buena Vista is one of the best preserved of the San Diego county land grant ranchos. Originally one of six ranchos claimed by Mission San Luis Rey, Rancho Buena Vista Adobe was deeded to Felipe Subria, a Luiseno Indian in 1845 by Mexico's governor, Pio Pico. In 1989 the City of Vista purchased the property and its current land of 1.9 acres and opened the Rancho to the public. Come visit and learn about Vista's history.
The Adobe, Gift Shop, and Art Gallery are open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
