Rare Byrd Salon

Rare Byrd Salon is a high-end beauty salon specializing in hand-crafted hair cuts and color, set in a relaxing vibe where attention and care is second to none, complete with a complementary beer or wine to help take the edge off.

The salon was founded by Walnut Creek native Annie Aieta, a Master Stylist and certified Wella Master Color Expert with advanced education in Bumble & Bumble, Sassoon, Privé, and many others, as well as a certified Great Lengths extension specialist.

Rare Byrd is tucked away at 2341 Boulevard Circle where the 680 meets 24, secluded from the hustle and bustle of downtown WC where it meets Saranap, counting Florali, Just Be Yoga, and Wish as our neighbors.

In addition to Annie’s station, it currently seats four additional stylists who have gathered from all walks of life, including master stylists and colorists meticulously chosen to ensure you leave the salon feeling gorgeous.
