Rebel Rousers Rumble

The 2016 Rebel Rousers Rumble will be held at a old historic Armory located in Ashland, Ohio. A traditionally styled Pre-64 Custom and Hot Rod Show & Rock N Rockabilly event will take place on September 9th. 11 AM - 8 PM. Registration is from 8 AM till Noon. “Traditional style rides” may mean different things to other shows. Our thoughts are:
Hot Rods and Customs:
It’s getting harder to find original steel 20s, 30s, 40s, and even 50s cars. We support a hobby that is affordable and we have no problem with fibreglass or reproduction steel cars that have a traditional appearance. Paint - Flat black, Flat colors, traditional / factory styled gloss paint colors and schemes are ok by us. Metal Flake & Pinstripes are exceptional. Tires, Rims and Wheels on Hot Rods and Customs - We are not going to be sticklers on by-ply tires. Radial tires are fine as long as tires do not have white lettering showing on the outside. RWL tires are just too 70s & 80s. Big diameter & rubber band ultra low profile tire do not fit the theme of this show.
Rims and Wheels - Wheels must be reminiscent pre 64 style wheels, No modern style or billet wheels. Open engines – no TPI/EFI, no billet pulleys or serpentine belts set ups. Alternators are ok.
If your hot rod or custom has any of the things mentioned above under the hood we ask you kindly to keep your hood closed on the day of the show for the integrity and respect of what we are trying to accomplish by putting this show on for traditionalists of the hobby. Out of sight out of mind. Suspension – Fenderless cars should have an axle, Disc brakes on Fenderless cars are ok. Fendered hot rods and customs with I.F.S clips are ok.
This is a show that we have put a lot time and effort into. It is a show that we are proud of and are looking forward to seeing even more traditional styled rides this August. Please make sure that your car meets the shows Pre-1964 requirements. All vehicles will be subject to a final inspection by the show organizers on the day of the show before entering.
