Recovery 101's Executive Director and Founder holds three licenses in three separate specialty areas of mental health; Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC), and Nationally Certified Gambling Counselor (NCGC-II). This range of specialties sets Wade distinctly apart from his colleagues in his field.

Trained by some of the best professors and institutions in country Wade spent his undergrad studying Business Management at Western International University and Human Service Management at the University of Phoenix, AZ. His graduate years in Center City Minnesota were at the prestigious Hazelden Betty-Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies during the day, and at night he moonlighted at Adler Graduate School for a second comprehensive education in Abnormal Psychology with a focus on trauma and abuse. Wade completed his practicum work at HBFGSAS in Center City and Project Turnabout located in Granite Falls Minnesota, both high intensity residential mental health & chemical dependency centers. Wade spent his first years in practice at the only homogeneous center in the world for Compulsive Gamblers, Vanguard at Project Turnabout, a unique perspective in the field of mental health having the highest mortality rate per-capita of all mental health disorders. After leaving Vanguard Wade went to public mental health in New Ulm Minnesota where he served as a co-morbid specialist in clinical practice serving a wide range of clients with a range of psychopathy.

Today Wade is back at school to earn his doctorate, a Research Ph.D. in Psychology specializing in Trauma and Disaster Relief from Northcentral University, all the while spearheading as Founder and Executive Director of Recovery 101 Counseling & Treatment Centers in New Ulm Minnesota; a recovery center, outpatient center, and mental health clinic specializing in Mental Health, Chemical Dependancy issues, and Gambling Addiction.

Wade is also teaching as an Instructor in the basics of Accelerated Resolution Therapy, is involved in designing a National Referral Network of ART therapists, a competitive and comprehensive EAP provider program with a slogan, "Back to Work with ART!
