Who are the Wilcotts?

Aaron and Erika Wilcott are the proud owners of Red Barn Berry Farms. They both come from agricultural backgrounds and have decided that Sherwood is the perfect place with an amazing community to start a business. They plan to raise their three children working on the farm; Nathan (7), Connor (4) and Dylan (7 months).

Erika grew up on a 120 acre farm right next door in Tualatin. She is the 6th generation of her family farm, so to say it is in her blood wouldn’t be an understatement! She has grown up working on the farm providing customer service, picking berries, hauling pumpkins, driving tractors and even baking!

Aaron grew up in Sherwood and graduated from S.H.S. He has always had a love for plants and growing produce. They currently have a wholesale nursery in Aurora where they grow 20 acres of nursery stock and berries; the same berries that are sold at the farm stand.

Their plans for their new farm is to have u-pick Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Marionberries! The berries will be ready for u-pick summer 2014 and they hope to have the other crops ready for picking that summer too!

In the mean time as the store is coming along they will have a stand set up in front, on the property, selling fresh berries and produce as well as hanging baskets.
