Red House on the Hill

We are a family operated business that wants to share our love for northern Wisconsin with you! This semi-private duplex is tucked away in the woods with premier lake access (the Wenos family, who owns the property, is who will be on the other side of the duplex if it is occupied- we can assure you that we will be quiet and that your satisfaction is our main priority). During your stay we hope that you will enjoy your own private dock and access to a fishing boat (seasonal, motor rental required) to explore the sugar camp chain of lakes. The fishing in Dam Lake is superb, with Musky, Northern Pike, and Walleye all being common catches. Water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and sailing are just a few other water sports that the lake supports. When you are not on the water, the quiet adjoining roadway provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing run or bike ride. Bald Eagle sightings are also common, and add to the charm of the Red House. End your day relaxing on the porch or around a campfire.

Less than 15 minutes away is the charming city of Eagle River or the town of St. Germain. Both provide fantastic meal options and local entertainment for you and your crew.
