A life-long dream of owning a Civil War era home has come true...and we can't wait to share it with you.
The home was built in 1834, and has witnessed the amazing history of Gettysburg. We are the 17th owner of this 180+ year old home and invite you to follow our journey to share it as a "Guest House" (better than a hotel, not as formal as a BnB). There are 3 rentable rooms, each with a private bath - all on the second floor (not handicapped accessible). Each morning of your stay @ 7:00 a.m., there will be various breakfast items available- make your own waffles, pancakes, omelets, or pastries, cereals, instant oatmeal, fruit, juices, milk, coffee and teas. There is no daily maid service, but additional towels, bedding and paper products are available upon request.
A first floor Parlor, Dining Room and Breakfast Room are common areas for guest use. We can direct you to all the great places in town, whether history or heritage is your interest.
