Redding Fire Festival

Our vision is to provide a platform for uniting cirque arts while rousing the artistic community, building the performance culture, and promoting the arts; to promote fire safety awareness in a fun and family-friendly environment; to demonstrate reciprocity at each event; to stimulate the economy by offering marketing and through featuring vendors, performers, and instructors.

Experience the fervor and intensity of flames caressing the night air, in sync with the flowing movement of liberated visual artists. Whether you are in attendance to be entranced by the hypnotic rush of flames swirling around the dancers, or your presence was roused by the opportunistic lure of fire dancing freedom, ALL are welcome to attend.

Hosted exclusively by Fire Dancer Desert Flower and Jasmine Mullet, the Redding Fire Festival is a family friendly event providing performance time to experienced fire performers. Audience members, artists, photographers, videographers, and dancers are encouraged to attend.

Arrive to the tinkle and chimes of the belly dancer symbols. Arouse your senses with both savory and delectable treats. Peruse the various vendor booths, and give a home to the commodity of your choice. Take part in the fiery adventure with a festive face painting. Experience the expertise of our instructors first hand by joining a workshop. Play a rousing game of Laser Tag with your companions. Interact with our living art characters. Become entranced by our interactive art. Then prepare yourself for an evening of spirited fire performance.

This event is geared to inspire fire art in our community, to give fire dancers a safe and welcoming place to perform, and to unite the cirque community of Northern California.

Fire Dancing:
Typical fire performances are 20 minutes long.
Available for multi-day events as well.

Freestyle Fire Performance= $125
Choreographed Fire Performance= $200
Freestyle Glow Performance= $75

Fire Breathing:
Solo is 5-10 minutes.

Freestyle Soloist Performance= $175
Choreographed Soloist Performance= $325
Freestyle Duo Performance= $325

Contortion:
Solo is 10-15 minutes.

Freestyle Soloist Performance= $200
Choreographed Soloist Performance= $275


Stilt Walking:
Dance performances are typically 5-7 minutes and walking is per hour.

Freestyle Stilt Dance Performance= $75
Choreographed Stilt Dance Performance= $150
Stilt Walking Per Hour= $100


Belly Dance:
Solo is 5-7 minutes and troupe is 15-20 minute.

Choreographed Solo Performance= $65
Choreographed Duet Performance= $120
Choreographed Troupe Performance (3-5)= $240


Partner Acrobatics:
Typical acro-yoga routines are 10-15 minutes.

Freestyle Duet Performance= $350
Choreographed Duet Performance= $550


Claude the Dragon:

With Fire Breathing Option: $700
Without Fire Breathing Option: $550


Hoop, Poi, Staff, Fan Lessons:

$15/hr or 4x for $40
Lesson Equipment Rental= $5

*Complimentary flow toy booth available.
*Performances require a deposit of 50%.
*Cancellations made prior to one (1) month in advance may be eligible for a refund.
*Traveling fee is based off of travel from Redding, CA. The pricing is 58 cents per mile.
