In August of 1993, R.E.D.E.E.M.E.D Community Outreach was incorporated as a 501 (c ) (3) nonprofit organization.
Sister DeBorah Williams knew what had to be put in place for the nonprofit to make an impact: enhance the present community resources, provide education, and concentrate on individual and community-wide development. As such, employment, empowerment, and the mentoring of residents are the result of these vital missions.
This grassroots, faith-based outreach is committed to improving the appearance and safety of the community by developing cooperative gardens, a farmer’s market, and a fruit orchard to replace drug-infested, abandoned properties. Outreach also introduces agribusiness and entrepreneurship to residents, increases community communication, and an overall participation to sustain lives and create generational wealth!
