Redeemer School

Redeemer School exists for the glory of God as a ministry to the covenant children of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, its affiliated churches and other Christian families in the community. Redeemer School desires to offer a unique educational alternative to Christian parents that offers an “inside out” approach to education. In a world driven by externals, Redeemer School has undertaken the challenge of not only providing an excellent educational “product”, but also of seeking to provide a thoughtful approach to the “process” of education. Consequently, this impacts our curriculum, instructional methods, disciplinary process, and all aspects of what we do at Redeemer School.

You may have heard the Chinese proverb: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” The truth of this proverb is the premise upon which a successful education is built. At Redeemer School, we take seriously our mission to teach children to feed for a lifetime on the wisdom of God found in his Word and in his created works. We understand that a child is not simply an empty vessel into which we pour information. A child is created in God’s image and is capable of experiencing the beauty and wonder of God in many ways through their educational experience.

Redeemer School seeks to be on the cutting edge in providing this kind of rich learning environment in a Christian context. We recognize, however, that we are here to assist parents in this awesome task not to take their place.
