Reed and Embry

Reed and Embry is a retail company created by owners Jason Reed and Michael Embry. Focusing on hand made furniture and home decor sourced from local artists, has greatly expanded the diversity of pieces you can find in their store. By focusing on the customer, nearly anything that can be thought up can be made to fit the customers needs. Some options available are custom beds, tables, coffee tables, nightstands and a myriad of lighting fixtures. They have been serving the greater Nashville area with custom furniture and rare home decor pieces since 2014. The idea came from very humble beginnings. Both have extensive retail experience as well as education in fine art and music. Fearing that their education wasn't being utilized to its full potential, while working for other people's companies, both decided to work hard and start learning how to make their own furniture and lighting. Through countless hours of researching the different techniques and how to source just the right products, things slowly began to click. The pair spent over 2 years learning how to market themselves, attending the Nashville Flea market nearly every month as well as cultivating a social media presence. Finally in 2017 their hard work is starting to pay off. This budding company is extremely proud to announce that as of March 1st 2017, Reed and Embry will be bringing their work to the Murfreesboro, TN market in the form of their first retail store. The address is 117 S. Church St. Murfreesboro, TN 37130. This is a huge milestone for the team but it is only the beginning. With aspirations of cultivating the business into multiple locations that service Murfreesboro, Franklin, 100 Oaks and Nashville TN, We can't wait to see what the future has in store!
