Reflection Church NC

Reflection Church is a house church in Selma, North Carolina. Our focus is not on entertaining people, collecting money, or building an impressive campus. At Reflection, families worship together and are encouraged to serve their community together. We want to see people equipped to obey the two greatest commandments: to love God and to love mankind. Join us this Sunday for honest Biblical teaching, heartfelt worship and the fellowship of a genuine faith community. Following are some of the important attributes we are seeking to provide in a local church:

• Our desire is to be a Christ-centered church modeled after the positive examples set forth in the New Testament of the Bible.
• We seek to train men and to provide an environment in which they embrace their God-given responsibility to be the spiritual head of their household.
• We want to serve those in our community with the greatest unmet spiritual, emotional and physical needs. It is our desire to minister to those needs, yet we understand and proclaim that God alone can ultimately fulfill all of a person’s needs.
• We believe that, through repentance and redemption in Christ, men and women can effectively serve God today, regardless of what mistakes lie in their past.
• We believe that families should worship together, without being segregated by age, marital status or stage of life. We believe this is not only the biblical model, but also promotes the role of parents as the primary provider of spiritual leadership to their children. Further, this model of worship provides for the transfer of wisdom among multiple generations of God’s people. This form of worship is often called Family Integrated Church or Multi-Generational Church.
• We believe that individual Christians, Christian families and the local church should each seek to carry out the Great Commission, beginning first in our own homes and extending into our community and from there to the ends of the earth.
• We seek to restore relationships with both God and the Church to those believers in our community who have withdrawn from Christian fellowship due to past hurts.
