WE BELIEVE worship of God should be spiritual! Therefore we remain flexible so the Holy Spirit may direct our worship.

WE BELIEVE worship of God should be inspirational! Therefore we give a great place to music in our worship.

WE BELIEVE worship of God should be intelligent! Therefore, in our bible studies, we emphasize Bible teaching so God may instruct us how He would be worshiped.

WE BELIEVE worship of God is fruitful! Therefore we look for His love in our lives as the greatest manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him.

An Emphasis On The Bible...at Refuge Church we believe the bible to be the ultimate source of authority for faith and practice. We study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and book by book in order that we receive the full counsel of God.

An Emphasis on Worship...with the Bible being the main focus in our ministry, the first place we look to see it applied is in our relationship with God. Thankfullness is the natural expression of a heart when it is set free from sin to Christ. We emphasize worship in our services and encourage people to grow in the expression of their love of God.

An Emphasis on the Holy Spirit...since we believe the Scriptures clearly teach that we are saved by grace, apart from our own works, we place a great emphasis on the role of the Holy Spirit in empowering and enabling God's people to live lives that please Him. This emphasis is seen in our reliance on prayer rather than programs.

An Emphasis on Fellowship...the number one sign of spiritual growth is the fruit of the Spirit - Love. Therefore, we place an emphasis on ministry and genuine care for one another.
